From the Sir David William Smith collection. Smith served as Surveyor-General, Upper Canada, 1793-1804. This map shows the fort as it would have appeared at the outset of the War of 1812. Structures are identified, and earthen bastions are named for various dignitaries (Simcoe, General Hunter, Prescott bastions).
